Remembering when Alexander was little

Today when I was at Fridhemsplan tube station , I remembered a Saturday , when Alexander was about 7 or 8 ? years old. He'd been invited to a friend's birthday party on the other side of town.
I don't know quite how it all happened - but I was supposed to meet him at Fridhemsplan tube station, forgetting to be specific about which entrance. So we missed each other . After checking all the exits , there was nothing left for me to do but return home , contemplating the next step which would possibly have involved the police. I was sick with worry . In the end , he found his own way home! Truly amazing. Remembering this story reminded me that I probably still underestimate his ability to look after himself and find his way home.
I need to stop worrying.
