Back again after two weeks away in ol' Blighty

Two weeks away in Blighty and I see that a lot has happened while I was away .
I'm all confused now.
Matthew King is dead , Jasmine has killed Shane, and I 've no idea what's been happening at the Church. Three years on , in the UK , Jimmy King is married to Nichola and lost his memory . Does not remember anything. It's all messing with my head  I am of course referring to Emmerdale , the soap. We are three years behind here in Sweden and when I go over to England , I get glimpses of the future and it all gets very muddled up. Somehow I must get it all sorted out in my mind.

Meanwhile , practical stuff to sort out at home . Spent a couple of hours yesterday phoning round for quotes from locksmiths. The safety lock on my outside door decided to go kaput locking me out the other day and forcing me to call out the locksmith to open the door for me and left me with a bill for 1200kr ( about 120 € ) and that is just the tip of the ice berg. It looks as if I will have to fork out another 240€ for a new lock to be fitted. The old one was ancient . Landlord says they are only responsible for the one lock. I've yet to find out what the insurance companies demands are but I do know that they only cough up in case of a break in.

Did laundry
Monica came round after work . I made cod and prawn fish pie...creamy sauce flavoured with dill , red wine , tomato paste, pinch of brown sugar and vanilla , topping of mashed potatoes and crumbled goat's cheese , mixed green salad on the side  It was GOOD

Dessert was ginger cake topped with 70% dark chocolate , served with ice cream.

Lots of catching up until midnight , at which point I flopped into bed .

Right. Saturday now . Sun's shining . Snow that fell yesterday is gone, thank goodness. Time for breakfast and whole load of washing up to do in the sink.
