Boo hoo, poor me
We've all been there
I've been there.
I speak from experience
This post is for my friend as well as my own inner victim .
The hardest thing for you to realise when you ARE there, in curled up cowering in a foetal position , is that you CAN choose another reality , another story , You can think differently about the situation .
HOw ?
After feeling the pain and crying a bucket load of tears , dis- identify .
Extract yourself from the situation and the story that you are telling yourself.
Distance yourself from the situation that is causing your grief.
Put distance between , your ' boo hoo victim ' story and the powerful magnificent being that you essentially ARE .
Let the capable strong creative adult in you take over.
Look at the facts :
" This has all changed "
As you say:
" They won't let me do this and that "
WHY ?
Because you have given someone else your power.
O.K. THINGS HAVE CHANGED
This is the reality of it .
THIS that you have to deal with.
I feel so very sad for you dear friend - but it doesn't help.
I also feel ANGRY on your behalf
My anger is defending you until you can defend yourself ,
My anger is telling you :
' PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER ! '
At this point , The JOKER in me steps in and reminds me of a few jokes.
Doctor doctor , I feel like a pair of curtains !
Pull yourself together , Lad !
Doctor doctor ,, I feel like a pack of cards .
SIt over there , I'll deal with you later.
Doctor doctor, I'm feeling like a sheep.
That's baaaaaaaaad
It is always on THEIR terms.
SO .....
Question is : What are you going to do about it ?
Question is : What CAN you do about it ?
Thinking cap on ... there must be a solution somewhere.
Be PRO active rather than submissive and passive, which doesn't seem to have worked for you so far, has it ?
I love you my friend xxxx
