Not bad. Nothing special. Eye-candy entertainment. Five parts , I think, and I watched them all while snacking on horseradish cream cheese and crackers and a large gin and tonic in my favourite crystal glass. Divine decadence.
18th-century England and Ireland viewed through the eyes of four beautiful high-born sisters - Caroline, Emily, Louisa, and Sarah Lennox, great-granddaughters of a king, daughters of a cabinet minister, and wives of politicians and peers.David CaffreyHarriet O'Carroll, Stella Tillyard (biography) Siân Phillips, Serena Gordon and Alun Armstrong |See full cast and crew

This is not a decadent as it seems, Mira. I'm going to laze around now, pretending to do something similar.
I must link up with this blog.
Now to cope with the Captcha. I've just relinquished mine (for the mo, to test out the situation) because a number of blog friends have had trouble reading it. Fair enough, I do too. I do wish Blogger gave better captcha options. There are loads available for uploading on WordPress.
Yay! The link worked! That's you hitched up on my trail. ;)
Hiya ZACL _ I love your creative anarchistic activist ways of stepping outside the box.
May Blogger do something about the Captchas- they are deterring human commenters as well.
Have you noticed that BCUK have fixed the glitch of slow comments ? Bravo.
Happy lazing and grazing , whatever decadent activity you mau choose :-)
mira
You made me chuckle, Mira.
No, I haven't noticed quicker uploads on BCUK. I visit selectively these days, time needing to be shared out on many things.
The uploading of photos was another difficulty that 'new BCUK' introduced. Will that be resolved or remain an intractable change; who knows?
You have come up as anonymous on my blogger notifications. Are you able to change that Mira? I am sure at some point soon, I shall be blocking anonymous commenters, as that is an alternative to keeping some of the spam down on Blogger. I really do not want to get into comment moderation. It's all a bit of of a pain.
I have just been experiencing the joys of the Captcha on some other posts I have been responding to. It is grim! I keep trying different ones, but, as you say, it is deterring genuine commenters.
Here goes, again, and again, and again....
