This is my second day indoors . Frost or snow covers trees and rooftops. It's bitterly cold outside and warm inside. I would love to be really decadent and indulge in a huge bag of crisps while watching a film, but that would mean going out into the cold dark night.
It was 2pm by the time I got round to breakfast and the sun was already beginning its descent. Short days. I will get up early tomorrow and go for a long walk , YES ...decided .
Valerie, my peaceprayer friend in Atlanta writes :
" Ah, how delicious is this chilly southern Autumn morning. Mozart playing in the background, influenced by Mara, adds quite a picante, upbeat flavor to the beginning day. The sun has risen and the burnished leaves are splendid. Fallen leaves are lying in wait of heavy steps and the sound of crunching. My coffee is perfect this morning, mellow, rich, rolls velvety in the mouth. It's perked me up to the wonders of the day that await me. Last night I dreamed of a chocolate colored spaniel puppy that came to me for love and comfort...instant mutual love! A puppy would be lovely, except for the mess! Today, I will do only what I choose. Nothing is planned. Whatever unfolds will be welcomed and an adventure. No agenda! Just to be and to be in joy. Avocado and tomato sandwich on crunchy wheat bread with a dollop of soyannaise and dijon mustard...yum! Champagne is in the fridge...maybe a mimosa! Decadent! I can do what I want! This is my free Saturday. I love it. Bless you all with love and joy this Saturday. Enjoy it all. Love and Peace to you. "
Yummy !!!
